Home For Christmas

Well, I'm home for Christmas...which is tomorrow!!! Crazy. Yeah, I guess it's good to be back. Weird, but good. It's strange to be around my family all the time. Not that it's bad, but I'm just used to them not being around me all the time.

Anyway, I got to play hockey yesterday, that was super fun!! I'm definitely sore...I know, I'm super out of shape. But it was good to skate again...well, if you can call that skating, it was more like sliding around on slush. But, I'm still very glad we went!

So, I have to sing German today in church, I was practicing the words yesterday, hmmmm, that didn't go so well. I think I'm going to have to just pretend to sing the whole time, my family told me to stop practicing because there was no hope for me. They didn't like listening to me butcher the songs. It should be an interesting night!

I'm Over It

For those of you that don't know, I really don't like to touch raw meat. I'm one of those people that uses a fork or spoon or something when cutting chicken breast so I don't have to touch it. Anyway, I think I got over that today. I was going to make chicken, and it had been on a styrofoam plate (it came on one), in the freezer. So I flipped the package over into a frying pan. The bottom of the chicken breast looked white. I couldn't figure it out, it just looked weird. So, I touched it, to see if it felt weird too. It felt sticky. I don't know what happened, but somehow I guess the styrofoam made it sticky. So, I tried to peel it off, but it didn't come off. So I'm sitting trying to scratch it off with my fingers. After getting chicken under my fingernails, I'm ok with touching it now. Anyway, I ended up having to cut off the bottom of the chicken to get all the sticky stuff off. I still don't know what exactly happened, that has definitely never happened before.

It's Go Time

Well, after 12 hours of physics on Monday (followed by 10 hours of sleep) and a day off today, it's time to get back at that studying. I'm rested, and I need to just get through three more exams. But for any of you that know about my physics class, I'm proud to say that it didn't go as bad as my midterm (I can't say if I passed or failed...I really don't know), but at least I didn't almost burst into tears like at my midterm...hopefully better than a 26%. Praise the Lord (but I still have to get through another semester of it).

AND, we got my parents the best Christmas present ever, I'm so excited. Sorry, I would write it, I don't think that they know this place exists and that I write stuff here, but I don't know 100%, so I don't want to ruin the surprise...unfortunately I've done that before, I believe I was about 6.

Wasting Time

Well, I officially registered for my class at U of W today. Thanks to Marce for all the help. Now I'm just sitting here thinking that I should study, but I don't really feel like it. But it's almost 2:30 and I haven't done any today, so I really should (considering that I have an exam tomorrow). I have 10 days until I'm all done. I'm so excited. Hmmm, these are my plans for Christmas:
-sleeping
-skating (or hockey!!!)
-singing
-eating (oh that one doesn't start with an "s" like the rest)
-I can't think of anything else

ok, maybe I don't have that many plans. I guess I should go. I can't do any of that stuff until I pass my exams. Maybe soon I'll have something more exciting to write.

Thinking

Two weeks from today I'm going to be sitting here in my house, done EVERYTHING!!!! I'm so excited. So, I'm going to e-mail a question for the debate coming up for the election. If I get chosen then I get to read my question on TV. I don't know what I'm going to ask yet. Hmmm, I have a couple ideas, but I want something really good. If you have any ideas let me know!

I'm trying to make this a long one because I know that Lori needs (well...wants) a study break. But I really don't have anything else to say. Go Vikings!

Memories...

I love hockey. I was remembering playing today. Good times.

That last one was Lori (with the white helmet), sorry Lori, it's the only one I had of you on my computer.
