My Plaguing Question

Last night my roommate and I were having a conversation and the topic of evolution/creationism came up. The thing is, we kinda figured there were two ways to look at the topic. One, you could say that God didn't really want us to worry about the details (about how He made things, etc.), the Bible doesn't go into explicit detail, it's only one chapter of the Bible, and we're making a bigger deal of it than it has to be. Or Two, you could say that God loves us so much that He cares about every single detail (He made every person to have unique fingerprints, that's amazing). So, maybe we should care about how God did things. I think about myself, and the times I'm truly amazed by God are when I find out the randomist things that cause me to sit there and think "wow, how can anyone find this out and not believe that there's a God"

We figured that it's probably a combination of the two. Sometimes we shouldn't worry about all the details, and just understand the big picture, but other times it's important to care about the details. But, this just brings up another whole problem: having the discernment to know the difference. But, that's a different post, not today. Hmmm, maybe none of this made sense, it was really late when we chatted about this.

I Am Alive

I'm sorry for the lack of posts. Between the craziness of life and school, I'm just trying to get a decent amount of sleep, this is kinda the last thing from my mind most of the time. But, since I've been procrastinating for two hours, what's a few more minutes?

I had a funny experience on sunday (what's new, these things always happen to me). I went to this church I had never been at with Tamara this last sunday. After the service the lady that was sitting behind us (probably 55ish) starts chatting with us. She didn't have time to talk but she just wanted to let us know that we had very nice backsides. That's right, she said that. I don't think I've every had anyone tell me that...especially in CHURCH!! (we decided that she probably just meant that we looked nice from the back...hair, clothes, etc.) But it was super funny! That definitely made my week. I laughed so hard.

Hmmmm, I don't know if I have too many more funny stories right now. But things are going good, this week has been interesting, but good for me. I'll have more to say later, I'm still collecting my thoughts, it'll take a while to process.

It was good chatting with you guys, I'll try not to be so absent.

This Is All I Can Think Of Today

Yesterday in my lab I was supposed to learn how to NOT electrocute myself when working with this one piece of equipment. The thing is though, that they didn't teach us. So I'm a bit afraid.

I'm really tired. It's the second week of school and I can hardly keep my eyes open! I haven't slept well these last two nights, so I'm exhausted. I really need to get to bed earlier tonight.

Oh, and on a positive note, I found my Maple Leaf's touque!!!!! I'm super excited. Sorry guys, that's the best I can do for a post right now. I'm too tired to think of anything interesting.
