Solar Cars and Computers

When me and my family were driving to Regina this weekend, we passed a bunch of the solar cars that were in that race from Austin to Calgary (or Edmonton, I forget). It was really cool. Hmmm, makes me want to be in engineering, so cool. Definitely the highlight of my trip. Otherwise the trip went well, my dad had his surgery, and the doctor thinks everything looks good, we don't know if he'll be able to see yet, it might take a few months to get his vision, we'll see. I had to register for classes on Monday, and I went down to the lobby to use the computer, and there was this huge baseball team of 16ish year old boys in the lobby using the computer. I'm just thinking to myself "great now I'm never going to get into my classes". After waiting half an hour, I finally just went and asked them if I could use the computer, I think I freaked the guy out, but I was desperate. Anyway, he let me use the computer, and all is well (I didn't have to beat him up to let me use the computer...not that I would have been able to beat him up).

I had a verse on my mind all weekend, but I couldn't remember where is was found, then yesterday, I was listening to the radio and they said the verse, so it's Luke 12:48 (the second part).

Later

So, I don't know how many of you are working or busy tonight, but I was thinking we could hang out, maybe play some volleyball or have a fire (I don't really care). I'm working till 5pm, but give me a call at home after that, I really want to do something!!

Mystery Solved

So, I don't know how many of you I told this to, but there was a guy in Hallmark a few weeks ago asking for me, and I couldn't figure out who it was. Anyway, so today, I'm working and in walks my Algebra friend from first semester!! He had been the guy wanting to talk to me. Yep, so I was surprised, but happy to see him. It's always weird to see people from university when I'm not in school, but yep, that was my excitement for the day!!

I'm Back!!

Well, I had a great weekend camping, I'm sorry not all of you could come, it was beautiful....and hot beyond belief. As some of you may know, our camping trips tend to be fairly eventful (images of Lori in a bar come to mind), but surprisingly nothing major to report.... just a few boys at the site across from us shining their flashlights at us, not too much else.

Hmmm, today we went to the beach just for a bit before we left and there was waves (well, if you can call them waves)!!! I love it when that happens, we're lucky we decided to go today after all. Praise Jesus for the great time!!
